Christian F Parraga MSAc, LAc
Licensed Acupuncturist
Specialties: Digestive Issues, Pain Management, Neuralgia, Bell’s Palsy, Anxiety/Depression, Sciatica/ Radiculopathy
Christian Parraga, MSAc, LAc. is the founder of CFP Acupuncture and a New York State Licensed Acupuncturist with a passion for integrative, whole-person care. His journey into acupuncture began with a profound personal healing experience through Japanese acupuncture in Brooklyn, NY. Moved by his experience with acupuncture, he sought out an apprenticeship with the very practitioner who treated him, immersing himself in the art for two years. That hands-on training built a deep foundation in pulse diagnosis, meridian palpation, abdominal diagnosis, and advanced needling techniques including contact needling, needle dose mastery, and both direct and needle-top moxibustion — instilling a level of sensitivity and precision that defines his clinical approach to this day.Christian holds a Master of Science in Acupuncture from the New York College of Health Professions, where he trained under leading specialists in Gynecology & Fertility, Orthopedic & Sports Injury, Classical Chinese Acupuncture, and Korean Acupuncture. He has since built his career across several multidisciplinary clinical settings, working alongside physicians, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, chiropractors, and orthopedists — an experience that sharpened his ability to deliver integrated, collaborative patient care at the highest level.
Christian is known for producing consistent, meaningful results across a remarkably broad range of conditions. His patients have experienced successful outcomes with musculoskeletal and pain conditions including herniated and bulging discs, sciatica, radiculopathy, muscle spasms, cervical and shoulder pain, knee pain, and plantar fasciitis. He has achieved notable results with complex internal and neurological cases including Bell's palsy, gallstones, bruxism, and seasonal allergies, as well as digestive concerns, Type 1 diabetes support, and sinusitis. His women's health work encompasses amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, fertility support, and menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, fatigue, and insomnia — conditions where his patients regularly report significant relief. Christian also has a strong track record addressing mental and emotional wellness including stress, anxiety, and depression.
Christian is bilingual in English and Spanish, and brings the same dedication, warmth, and clinical excellence to every patient at CFP Acupuncture — whether they are longtime advocates of holistic medicine or walking through the door for the very first time.

Kayla Benaburger, M.S., L.Ac.
Licensed Acupuncturist
Specialties: GYN, Fertility, Cosmetic Acupuncture, Pain Management, Anxiety/Depression, Migraines
Kayla is a New York State Licensed Acupuncturist whose path into the field began much like many of her patients' — as someone seeking healing herself. It was through her own personal experience with acupuncture that she discovered its transformative potential, inspiring her to pursue it as a career. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Acupuncture from the New York College of Health Professions — where, as fate would have it, she crossed paths with fellow acupuncturist Christian Parraga — and has been making a meaningful impact in her patients' lives ever since.
Kayla's clinical focus centers on women's health, where she has built a reputation for delivering real, results-driven care. She specializes in fertility and infertility support, gynecological concerns, and the full spectrum of perimenopause and menopausal symptoms — helping her patients navigate these transitions with greater comfort, balance, and confidence. She is also highly sought after for her work in cosmetic acupuncture, where her skill and artistry in natural facial rejuvenation consistently deliver outstanding results.
Beyond her specialties, Kayla brings extensive experience in pain management, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions including low back pain, neck and shoulder pain, sciatica, knee pain, and headaches. She takes a comprehensive, individualized approach to every treatment — combining acupuncture with cupping, electroacupuncture, GuaSha, and Tui Na to address each patient's unique needs. She also supports patients through pregnancy, postoperative recovery, allergies, nausea, anxiety, and depression.
Kayla is CPR and Clean Needle Technique certified, and is known for her attentive, compassionate bedside manner. She takes the time to truly listen to her patients, meeting them where they are and guiding them toward feeling their very best.
